Pokemon X/Pokemon Y Coming Worldwide In October!
North Americans and Europeans, fret not! The worldwide release of the next generation of Pokemon games is coming out in October! That’s right, no localization times!
The video is an episode of Nintendo Direct, appropriately titled Pokemon Direct, which goes over a whole list of new features and Pokemon from the upcoming games. Be sure to give it a nice watch- it looks like a lot of new information is coming out about the games with every passing hour!
Dude dude dude dude!!!!!! I am completely stoked about this.
Happy 25th Birthday Final Fantasy!!! (Post 1 OF 2)
NOTE: These are the final revisions of the posters I’ve been creating since Sept. 2012. Due to tumblr’s picture limit per post, the remaining posters are in the following post.
Due to this anniversary occurring this year, one of my best childhood friends for life Max of 17 years and I got together this past summer to reflect on Final Fantasy. I fondly remember of the days when him and I first met at the back of a school bus. We found a strange bond through our talk of video games and reading video game magazines on our journey home from school. One day, I saw him reading a white book that got me curious. It was the strategy guide for Final Fantasy VII, a new game that just had come out. I was curious because the only Playstation game I had owned at the time was “Crash Bandicoot”, and I played that disc to death. The memories “Wow, this guy sure has bright, spikey hair!” and “What is that big, glowing green thing he’s facing?” immediately come to mind flipping through the pages of his guide. He showed me the game case on our walk from the bus stop to his driveway at the end of the street. “Man, that is a BIG game case! This game must be epic!” I stared in amazement. “I’m only at the beginning, but it’s pretty fun so far” Max replied.
Little did we know how much that game would impact our lives and our bond of friendship for years to come…I ended up beating Final Fantasy VII 100% complete during the ENTIRE course of my summer in Junior year of high school. That was a crowning achievement I’ll never forget.
We all made friends through Final Fantasy: we talked about all the different games as they released in game stores, we drew fan art, we made fan fictions, we watched the movies, bought the figurines, listened to the gorgeous soundtracks, and even cosplayed as the favorites who remind us just a little bit of ourselves. To think, this magnificent video game series almost never was…if if wasn’t for a little hope and faith of game creator Hironobu Sakaguchi, Final Fantasy would never have existed, and he would’ve went back to the university to continue studying electrical engineering. Thank you Hironobu Sakaguchi. Thank you Square. You gave me a best friend, and now I’m giving my appreciation through these vintage posters.

Can you name all the characters represented in his piece?
Jeff worked as a Technical Director at South Park for 7 seasons and you can see his latest work on South Park: The Stick of Truth! He worked on the trailer and painted the art for the packaging!
I may not get all the character names right but I will do my best, There is the character from Dragon’s Lair on the bottom left of the poster, Cloud on bottom Center from Final Fantasy 7, A little sister from Bioshock on bottom right, then on the next layer up I think that’s marcus from Gears of War but I could be wrong, then the girl from portal 2 on the right, then on the 3rd layer on the left is Link from Legend of Zelda, then Pac Man in the middle, and then Duke Nukem on the Right, then on the 4th layer starting from the left is the fallout symbol for pretty much everything in the Fallout series, then Snake from the Metal Gear series, then Dr. Gordon (I think that’s his name) from the Half-life series, then Jill from the Resident evil series, then on the 5th layer starting from the left, is ryu from street fighter, then cratos from god of war, Mario, Samus Aran from Metroid, and Lara Croft from the Tomb raider series (I’m not positive on this one but it’s the only thing I could think of for the double gun stance and a blue shirt), then on the 6th and final layer is the Hitman from the Hitman series, Master Chief from Halo, and finally Shepard from the Mass Effect Series.

Honestly, if this happened, I would ask her which one or what the main character looks like to test her. If she passed, I would fucking sprint to her house because she has a fucking FamiCom.
If a girl asked you to play a gamble with her… You’d ‘test’ her about it?
That… Isn’t cool.
How is this not offensive to gamer guys? Double standard of the victim kind….
It never even comes close to suggesting that all guys are like that, though.
Dodged a bullet there if you ask me… Final Fantasy III is awful!
Jokes aside (FF3 for DS was a great port, it just kind of showed its age), I still find it utterly ridiculous when people trying to get into gaming or otherwise geek culture are met with hostility. They like the same things you do! Be happy!
If a girl asked that to me I’d say “Hell to the Yeah” >:)

Someone posted this on /co/ last night and I just HAD to share it. It’s just plain lovely…
….i don’t know what this is.
is this…
is this velma and wesker?
or
velma and johnny bravo?
(aren’t they the same?)
It’s Velma and Johnny Bravo-
“I can’t see without my glasses”
“I can’t be seen without my glasses”eh?
EHH??
shit this is kawaii
Johnny Bravo in the cartoon is kind of a failed womanizer, he’s the kind of guy I try not to be, but this makes me wish I was him.

I just realized you American fuckholes have no idea what these are.
These little pieces of heaven are called Tim Bits (it’s only morbid if you know that the namesake of this awesome ass coffee place died in a car crash.)
These orgasmic mouth fillers (no seriously, they fill your mouth to just the right amount) come in a fucking trucks worth of different flavoUrs. They’re like donut holes but better.
These little fuckers come in packs of ten, twenty and forty and are cheap as dirt. Teachers get these little tastes of gods perfection as rewards for hard working students. That’s why everyone in Canada has As (or should I say ‘eh’s?)
they’re called Munchkins and you can get them at one of Dunkin Donuts’ 6700 US locations
the original picture looks like a 99999x shittier version of munchkins
canadas mad gay dude
where I’m from ( Mena, Arkansas, USA) we just call them doughnut holes. and you can get them from pretty much any doughnut place.

Supernatural Quiz

I took the Angel Quiz and got Cas, and then I took the Character test and got Dean, and I was completely honest. I don’t know whether that’s a good thing or not. it sounds cool but I think it makes me sound like more of a shut in.
It’s interesting that both Persona 4 and Catherine feature transgendered characters. That, along with all the other non-conventional personalities and supernatural/mythological elements makes the games they make plainly awesome.
I need to play Catherine more so I get more of the different endings.
persona 4 doesn’t have a transgendered characters
naoto admits she only wanted to be a man because of her job and she thought that was the only way they would take her seriously. in the end she says she needs to accept herself as she is and not what society is wanting her to be
In Persona 3 when Junpei, Akihiko, and Minato are at the beach, Junpei hits on a transgendered woman.

REBLOG IF YOU ARE AN AMERICAN WHOVIAN.
I read this as “American Woman” and I thought, “Why in the world did 3PO reblog this…”
do yoU EVER GET SO UPSET THAT FICITIONAL CAHRACCTESRS HAVE THE SAME AGE AS YOU AND THEYVE GONE ON SUCH MAGICAL ADNVETURES AND YOU HAVENT????
All the Time, when I was ten I kept expecting my letter from hogwarts when I turned 18 I kept waiting for some hero to add me to their group, when I turned 21 I kept waiting for something to happen so that I could go on an adventure. I keep waiting for magic to become real, but even if it does, I am going to be sooooo pisssed if I don’t become a magic user of some sort. I don’t care if I end up a druid, have to study in a college for years to become a wizard, I’m going magic or broke.
